Balancing Chakras through Finger Massage

Here's a quick '2-minute' polarity approach for balancing your chakras -- even shorter if you skip the first and last step.

The technique:

  • check your chakras by running your hand in front of your body
  • muscle check or dowse which finger to massage to balance your chakras
  • massage that finger!
  • check your chakras by running your hand in front of your body

When I manage a truce with my camera, I'll see about getting video clips!

In the meantime, to check a chakra, you hold you hand out from the body about where a chakra is maybe 8 - 12 inches away.   As you move your hand in and out slowly, you'll usually be able to feel an envelope of sorts.  That tells you how far out the chakra is extending.  Sometimes, if the chakra is 'blown open' it will be blasting and who knows how far out it goes.  Sometimes, if a chakra is depleted, it will be very close to the skin, maybe even on it.

Ideally, all of your chakras will have about the same amount of energy.  The chakra that has more energy is working too hard.   The chakra that has noticeably less energy isn't working enough.  When there is an excess or deficiency, the system is compensating and the whole system has a loss of resiliency.  Ideally, 'everyone pulls their own weight.'

To muscle check or dowse which finger to massage, postulate these options, stopping at the first 'yes' you get:

To balance out my chakras,

  • I massage the index finger.
  • I massage the middle finger.
  • I massage the ring finger.
  • I massage the pinky finger.
  • I massage the thumb.

For extra credit, you can also check which hand to use -- left, right, both, which phalange to massage -- tip, middle, base, and how to massage -- light, deep, vigorous, etc.

Now you massage the finger!

After you massage the finger, it can be interesting to see what happened to your chakras.   Usually you will find that all the chakras now have the same oomph.  It may be that they are all level with the closest one, or all level with the furthest one, are all at about the same distance.  What matters is that they are all at about the same strength.  That way none are getting overworked and none are getting left out.

To be honest, I am almost always pleasantly amazed at how balanced they've become.  In twenty years or so, I'm sure there has to have been a time or two they weren't.... right?!  Like, if it worked every time, what a great track record!  Even if my memory doesn't recall a time it didn't.

If you find your chakras are still uneven, give it another go!

The Quickie:

If you're really pressed for time, just massage your fingers!

If you have some time, find out the finger and massage that.

Play with it, see how it goes.

Why do this?

The chakras are our where we receive our juice, store memories, process information, and contribute to the world.  They're like the cylinders in the engine. where the spark ignites the fuel that powers the vehicle.  And just like for the car, we want to be running with all cylinders in working order.

How does it work?

Each finger correlates to a chakra.  Each phalange correlates to a pole of that chakra.  When you massage the finger, you are balancing the chakra system at the place that will bring it balance.  (Because that was the information asked for: To balance out the chakras... )

Each chakra correlates to a physical body part, a relationship aspect, a mental/emotional aspect, and a spirit-level aspect.  By balancing out the chakras in this fashion, you're balancing out all aspects of your life

.

What benefits have you noticed?

For the next week or so, maybe play with this whenever it crosses your mind, and then at the end of the week maybe reflect a moment -- how have things changed during the course of the week?  is it smoother than usual?  bumpier than usual?  maybe a mix?

Books

I love books! These top three books help explain some about Resonance Repatterning® and PSYCH-KTM.  I have reviews of and comments about more books with links into Amazon in my original 'Bookstore' as well as a bigger but less verbose Amazon eStore.  Whenever I do online group Resonance Repatterning® series, I include books I've referenced in the resources sections for that series.
