Balancing Plates - Aligning the Neck

How's your neck?

very interestingly, what happens in your neck reflects everything else that's happening in your spine.

This is because the vertebra in the ribcage are fairly inflexible, while the vertebra in the lower back and neck are flexible.

So if there's something going on in the lower back or pelvis or legs, it transmits up through the 'solid' ribcage and lands in the neck.  Kind of like how waves travel through different medium.  They pass quickly through the more solid things.

By getting the vertebra in the neck loose and aligned, you're working it in the other direction, and the rest of the body is given a chance to follow suit.

It's a process

The process consists of comparing the actual to an ideal and asking the body if it can move in the direction of the ideal.  After you ask the question, you may get either a yes or a no answer.  Acknowledge whichever one it is!

Ideal Actual Step
< -- > Establish the ideal.  (left side)

Ask for the actual.  (whatever it is!)

Note: how do they compare?   (let this be 'scientific' - it's to the left, the right, up, tilted, etc.)

7 ~ 6 Ask:
Would it be possible for C7:   (bottom one)
  • to face forward?
  • to be level with the ground?
Would it be possible for C6:
  • to face forward?
  • to be level with C7?
  • to be centered on C7?
6 ~ 5 Ask:
Would it be possible for C5:
  • to face forward?
  • to be level with C6?
  • to be centered on C6?

5 ~ 4 Ask:
Would it be possible for C4:
  • to face forward?
  • to be level with C5?
  • to be centered on C5?

4 ~ 3 Ask:
Would it be possible for C3:
  • to face forward?
  • to be level with C4?
  • to be centered on C4?
3 ~ 2 Ask:
Would it be possible for C2:
  • to face forward?
  • to be level with C3?
  • to be centered on C3?

2 ~ 1

Ask:
Would it be possible for C1:
  • to face forward?
  • to be level with C2?
  • to be centered on C2?

For the Skull:

Ask:
where's the blue ball?

Would it be possible for the blue ball to be above the center of C1?

When you're done with your questions, note: what's the same/difference between the ideal and the real?

Esoterically, the neck has a lot to do with connecting to spirit - stay tuned for information on that!

Have you had a chance to play with this in your riding?  What is your experience with this?

"The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn, the bird waits in the egg, and in the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities."
